Paralyzed by fear, I witness the beginning of brutality,
Grenade and mortar explosions, increase the panic and adrenaline,
The smell of gunpowder and blood mixes, the ground turns dark red,
The pain and chaos around me alter my perception of reality

Along with a handful of survivors the hunt begins,
Enemies lurking in the shadows, their arrival is imminent.
Flayed, dismembered, burned and shot before my eyes
But hidden into the bodies I find my supposed salvation.

Now sunk in this battle for ever I will be, fooling my mind with anxiolytic drugs, I feel my face deforming as I watch them die again, consumed internally I will to die
