I open my eyes and I find myself below
a flame-enlighted sky
People around me scream,
but I can’t hear them.
I can only see how they
fearfully run away.

There ain’t memories
on my mind:
just little pieces,
of my shattered
bloody dreams.

I remember how I was in my room
about to end my hopeless life.

The shadows of death were chasing me
with their whispers from dark nooks.

Tho now I’m standing,
here in this chaotic place
with a torch between my hands
which light reveals a morbid pleasure on my face.

Now I know I’ve always been
the only Shadow of Death.
Finally, I have paid my debt
